The alleyways are made in 8 feet sections as straight units, or as left or right curves. The sides are tapered at the bottom and adjust from 27 inches at the top and 19 inches at the bottom to 17 inches at the top and 9 inches at the bottom. These units are easy and fast to assemble for use in more than one location. The 2 inch and 2 1/2 inch tubular steel gives strength and durability. Side panels are of 48 inch x 16 gauge sheet metal.

The Filson Open Sweep was designed to allow the cattlemen a more portable as well as a more versatile way of handling cattle. The Sweep Pen door will latch every 18" for maximum safety for both the operator and also the animal. Another unique design of the Filson Sweep Pen is the versatility of the swing door latch. It can be easily changed from a left hand sweep to a right hand sweep by changing two springs on the latch. This pen is sturdy but can be easily torn down and transported to another location in a matter of minutes. No tools required.

The Filson Open Alley is designed to go with the Filson Sweep Pen. Keeping with the same concept as the pen for being portable as well as versatile. The Alley comes in 8 ft straight sections, which are sheeted 24 in from the bottom of each panel for maximum safety for the animals. The sections of the alley can be adjusted from 20 in to 28 in on the inside. Another feature is that it can be easily changed from a left hand to a right hand alley by rotating the arches 180 degrees. This alley can then be attached to any Filson AI / Palpation cage or chute
